This February, we’re approaching love through the beauty of human connection and the empowerment of professionals who are educated on inclusive practices. The LGBTQ Inclusion Series is a two day virtual professional development conference, centering queer equity and belonging through the amplification LGBTQ+ professionals in the fields of speech-language pathology and education. Attendees will explore LGBTQ affirming practices and their implications on therapeutic outcome, academic success, and quality of life. Participants will engage in learning and dialogue on the intersections of queer identities and race, disability, neurodiversity, literacy, voice, and more so they can show up in better ways for people of all gender identities, gender expressions, and sexual orientations. Attendees can earn up to .6 ASHA CEUs from the LGBTQ Inclusion Series. Registration includes access to the live event on February 13-14, 2023 as well as access to the recorded courses. Recordings and CEUs will be available for six months following the live event. Proudly brought to you by Hey Wes and SLP Toolkit.
