Dr. Farquharson is an associate professor and director of the Children's Literacy and Speech Sound (CLaSS) Lab at Florida State University. The mission of the lab is to help children with speech and language impairments achieve classroom success. Populations of interest are children with speech sound disorders, dyslexia, and/ or developmental language disorder. As a former school-based SLP, she is also interested in improving workplace conditions for SLPs. This includes understanding the impact of caseload size on clinical decision making and improving management of job stress.
