In Enhancing Engagement in Speech Therapy with Artificial Intelligence, they explore a variety of AI tools that support students in developing writing skills, comprehension, organization, social communication, and time management. Participants will learn how to teach students to use AI and draft prompts that create useful outcomes for improved student success. This session will provide practical, student-friendly ways to make therapy both fun and functional—while also teaching students how to use AI responsibly and safely.

Kristin Testani MS, CCC-SLP is a Supervisor of Speech Improvement for the New York City Public Schools. Kristin is an ASHA certified Speech Pathologist. She attended New York University for her Bachelor's of Science Degree and Adelphi University for her Master's in Science degree. She holds Advanced Certificates in Autism Studies from Brooklyn College and Educational Leadership from College of St. Rose.
