This presentation highlights affordable methods to access the External Evidence that is crucial to ethical EBP. It includes practical solutions that participants can use immediately, along with a guided walkthrough of selected resources and brainstorming session so participants can develop an actionable plan to access research relevant to any subject. Applicable to any setting from schools to private practice to hospitals.

    Jill Hansen Shook, MS, CCC-SLP, became an SLP in 2011 and worked in the school setting before opening her boutique private practice, Jill Shook Therapy, in 2015. When she's not providing therapy for clients ages 3-99+, she is creating courses, consulting, or credentialing other SLPs. She is passionate about saving other providers from having to reinvent the wheel, whether they're starting a private practice or finding good research. She is a longtime member of her state association, PSHA, and incoming chair of the PSHA Private Practice Subcommittee (trying saying that 10 times fast to evaluate your diadochokinetic rate!)
