Grammar Intervention: A Contextualized Approach for SLPs

Treating spoken grammar is a common therapy target for many school-based SLPs; however, grammar intervention is not without its challenges. SLPs know that repeated practice is important, but often “drill” activities lack context and do not readily generalize to novel contexts. In this lecture, the evidence base practices for supporting the development of spoken grammar within contextualized mini units will be reviewed along with practical tips for developing your own grammar units for a variety of spoken grammar targets.

Registration to this course includes our free resource: 10 Grammar Goals You Can Start Today (With IEP-Aligned Examples for SLPs & Educators).

This course will be available on demand by Aug. 1, 2025.
